Pastor David Allman is a native of Toledo, Ohio. Prior to moving to Florida, Pastor Allman served churches in Central Ohio, Northeast Ohio, and Southeastern Michigan. Before accepting the Call to Redeemer, Pastor Allman served as Chaplain to Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas County. He is a graduate of Capital University and Trinity Seminary, both in Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Allman and his wife, Candy, have two children, Heather (Dean) Crawford, who is a graduate of Michigan State University and Noah who earned his Associates Degree from Hillsborough Community College, and now attends the University of Central Florida. The Allman family resides in Apollo Beach; and, the Crawford family resides in Manhattan, NY.
Pastor Allman states that the most important lesson of ministry he learned from a mentor is to love the people. Since that day he has adopted as his ministry statement Jesus’ answer when asked about the greatest commandments. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second statement is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”(Matthew 22:37-39)
